As a Sales Engineer at FortMesa, you will be a key technical advisor working closely with the sales team to understand the unique challenges and requirements of our partners and potential partners. Your role involves leveraging your technical expertise in cybersecurity to articulate the value of FortMesa's platform, address technical queries, and provide pre-sales support. Beyond sales skills, we are seeking an individual with cyber and technical experience, a strong understanding of business dynamics, technical and sales skills, and a detail-oriented, fast, and flexible communication style. Channel experience is a plus, as is customer service experience and a background in managing relationships over time.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical pre-sales role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector
- Strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts and industry standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage relationships effectively
- Bold and adventurous mindset, open to taking calculated risks
- Fearless in challenging the status quo
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity in all professional interactions
- Hands-on approach to tasks and problem-solving
- Willingness to tackle any necessary task or responsibility
- Exhibits a learning mentality, particularly in the context of cybersecurity
- Demonstrated experience in effective communication

- Channel experience is a plus
